Re: 37 MPG No Matter What I do [piason]
While the Honda Fit is new to the U.S., it is a 2001 design to the rest of the world. The engine in the Civic is of a newer technology than that of the Fit, as well. Read More...
Re: we're now a Hybrid Family [2hybrids]
Us two. I bought the first hybrid 5 years ago this month as a 2001 leftover. Between the reduced price and the tax credit it ended up $5,000 under sticker when it was all said and done. Got tired of my 2001 Taurus, though it was a beautiful car. Drove into Autofair Honda in Manchester, NH and got a great deal. Bought it on the spot. (2007 Civic) Read More...

Re: Yep [nvbanker]
Have you owned Elantras for over 6 years, as I have? Then maybe you can give first-hand testamony to the "feel of the drive", the quality, and the long-term performance of Hyundais vs. Hondas (which I have owned also). Back in 2000 I could have purchased the all-new 2001 Civic instead of the all-new 2001 Elantra. In fact the Civic was my top choice "on paper". Just ... Read More...
Differences between 2006 & 2007 Civic Hybrid
Differences between 2006 & 2007 Hybrid
Are there any appreciable differences between the 2006 and 2007 Hybrids? I have the opportunity to buy my local Honda dealer's last 2006 model at a very attractive price but I have very little info on the 2007 version to make a comparative decision. As way of introduction, since I've just joined the group, I currently own two Civics 2001 and 2004 but I've owned ... Read More...
Re: 2006 LX Strut Failure [dano100]
dano100....I had a very similar problem with a new 2001 Civic EX, they replaced the one strut. It wasn't long before I noticed the car didn't sit level anymore. Honda said it was within specs and refused to do anything more. Just a word of caution in regards to your question if both struts should be replaced. Read More...
