I live in Charlotte, NC and I did not opt for the EX-L but did get the EX navi/blue tooth and love it. The car had wheel locks and and mud guards and was everything I wanted. With destination I paid 19,700. Neither pressure nor a bad thermostat caused the coolant to overflow the radiator. The reason it overflowed is that liquid expands as it heats up; it will do this on any car, and very quickly after start-up. Is your fan running when the car is overheating? My 2001 Honda Civic Lx has been overheating at random times. I put anti-freeze into it at least every 2 to 3 days. Yesterday I was playing around with it and was letting the engine run while the radiator cap was off(adding fluid letting it work air out). I use a tank of Premium on occasion. Not often. its a 2001 used honda civic HX.yes i brought in the papers from AAMCO.Honda said they don't repair transmissions,only replace them.right now their saying nothing is wrong after the first test they did said it was definitely the transmission.So we'll just wait..so far it's behaving! My rust problem on my 2001 Civic was nearly 2 years ago. The warranty had just run out by a couple months when the I found the problem. I lost my respect with Honda because the way I was treated. hondajohn, My wife owns a 2001 Honda Civic and the driver door has rust on the top. It has gotten so bad I believe I will have to replace the entire door. The car has 145,000 mile and is still running well. She traded in a 1993 Honda Civic with over 200,000 miles on it. The only rust on the 93 was on the trunk, where the spoiler was added.
