Review

I have owned this car for 3 years I honestly can say it's one of the best cars I have ever owned. I have 89,000 miles on it, never once have had any major issues. Aside from a few minor repairs from wear and tear, nothing major has happened to it. I must say that I'm very pleased with the outcome of this car.

Favorite Features

Gas mileage, hands down. I get about 40 on the highway.

Review

This car manages to keep my long commute fun even though it doesn’t have much power. The 5-speed manual transmission still shifts like butter even with 120k of hard driving in southern California traffic. This car really doesn’t feel like it has the miles that it does. It still handles very well but could use new struts (they are a bit weak). This car has aged very well and I plan to keep it for at least 4 more years. The only repair other then routine maintenance so far on this car was the headlight switch under warranty.

Favorite Features

Very smooth Manual Trans Integrated rear window antenna Responsive steering Flat floor Huge interior for a small car, it can fit 4 6 foot tall adults comfortably. 36 MPG average 60/40% hwy/city

It could be a little quieter inside other then that I can’t think of anything.

Best Used Car for the Price

Was lucky to find an '01 with only 17 K miles, ride and build quality outstanding. Handles great, lots of room easy to park. Get 34 mpg in city.

I love my Honda

Review

The only problem I've had with my Honda Civic is the cruise control and the air bag sensor light. My cruise control has worked intermittently for the last 2 years, and the air bag sensor has been an issue since before my warranty expired. I just never got it fixed. I have had it checked and their is truly something wrong with the sensor. But I have A LOT of miles on my Honda so overall I would never complain. I don't know very many cars that can stand up to what my car has.

Favorite Features

My favorite feature is in the backseat I don't have this big hump in the floor. I believe this is the first year they had a flat floor in the back and I love it. The other thing is mileage and dependability. I can always count on my Honda.

Suggested Improvements

There is definitely something up with my cruise control and I know cars the are 25 years old but their cruise control still works so I don't think my should have been going out. Just my 2 cents and as for the air bag sensor, I don't know. Partly my fault for not getting it looked at right away.

Great car never let you down. Nice clean look beautiful blue color. Easy to add accessories. Fun to Drive handled very well. v-tec engine had a little pick-up when you need it.

stronger engine. would like you to com out in a convert. (Rag top) it would be the next best thing. I think you would Surprise Yourself keep it around 18750 includes air,cruise,cd,100watt, but offer a decent up grade 225-300 watt for $800 6 speakers 1 sub 2 tweeters. 6-disc $275

Review

From purchase to the present our Civic has been both a pleasure to drive and a pleasure to maintain. There have been no problems (let alone major ones) in 3 years of driving this car. For drives to our daughter's place (4 hour drive through hilly terrain) this car gets 35 to 42 mpg (winter/summer). Every three months I take the car to my Honda dealer for oil changes and recommended service.

Favorite Features

My favourite feature is the 5 speed manual transmission.

Suggested Improvements

For me: none. For my wife: heated seats.

Best Car You Can Buy For Your Money

Review

I bought my car used with 41,000 miles on it. I have been driving it for less than three years and it now has over 130,000 miles on it. I am a pizza delivery driver and have driven this car to 34 states and it has NEVER broken down on me. I have never done anything to it besides routine maintenance. I can drive it from San Antonio, TX to Houston, TX and back on one tank of gas. I can not stress enough to you how dependable this car is. I will never buy anything that is not a Honda again.

Review

I have 105,000 on this car and the only repair I've had to make is a headlight that burned out about a month ago. Still the original brakes! Second set of tires still look good. I drive a lot of highway miles and average 40+ mpg. This is a great car. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is to buy a 2006 Civic EX coupe.

Review

I have had this car since 61000 miles and I am at 75000. It is still running strong and is an awesome car with great fuel economy. It is low on hoarsepower but I put a exhaust and intake on it to bring it up and it is faster. Needs tighter suspension and one of my struts has started to leak and it sometimes pops out of second gear but I have a warrenty on it to cover it. Overall it has been a great car and has saved a lot of money in fuel.

Easy access to all controls, good looks, and great gas mileage.

Suggested Improvements

Stiffer suspension as well as more reliable suspension with leaking struts, better wheels, disc brakes all the way around.

Review

My Honda, which I bought because of its flawless reputation, has been nothing but good for me. MPG is great, up to 36 on the highway. Add a cold air intake and better wheels and tires and you got yourself a ride! The power of the engine leaves some room for improvement, but you can't complain about 127 stock horses under the hood of a 4-banger. My only other complaint is the paint job. The finish ships if you look at it wrong. Overall a great car though! Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Favorite Features

Sleek design, moon roof, and easily modified. No technical experience necessary to make this car look and run like a champ!

Suggested Improvements

More power! Also could use a little more durable interior, including more comfortable seats. Could use a reduction in road noise too, but I can deal with that.
