A previous Toyota owner. Bought brand new. Driven for almost 5 years. Consideing it's a small car, accelation and braking is fine and spacious inside. Easy and simple to use inside layout. Check engine light came on and off and stayed on. Turned out a major tranny(torque converter) problem covered under warranty, which would have cost close to 2K at dealer. Squeaky noises from suspensions on and off. Driving is very bouncy(No. I don't mean smooth here. still felt every bump, though. what's up with this?) but straight. Rattles from behind somewhere on and off. MPG is not as good as advertised. Overall decent but not excellent. Honda reliablity and sporty driving. None there with this Civic.
Consideing it's a small car... 1. Accelation and braking is fine. 2. Spacious inside as well as trunk. 3. Overall very reliable. It has not broken down on the road.
Honda knows all the problems...Suspensions(fix bouncy driving, weakest link)...Tranny(second weakest link but as bad as suspensions)...rattles...
