2001 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan (1.7L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I purchased my 2001 EX after my 92 LX
was totaled in an accident. The ride
and noise level are much poorer in the
02 than the 92. Honda has also
substancially cheapened the quality of
many of it's body and suspension
components while improving on some
mechanical items such as the engine and
auto transmission. Gas mileage is also
much poorer than the 92 LX. After 2
years of owning this car, I still miss
my 92 LX.

Best Features

Engine and transmission. Honda appears to have cheapened everything else on the car. The tires are especially pathetic.

Worst Features

Restore the quality and excellent engineering of the past. It has apparently fallen victim to penny pinching accountants
