Bought car brand new. Looked good, was
fun to drive. Very soon after, bits of
door panel kept detatching -
particularly in the handle where a
piece covers the screws to hold it in
place.... it won't stay without glue.
Comfort not all that great - was pretty
peaved to find that only driver side
had an arm rest. Material used wasn't
the best. Just a typical interior
design. Now at 25/k miles w/ rattles
in dash. A/C could be stronger.
Turning radius isn't very good. Older
civics are much better.
It has power on freeways when you need
it to pass someone.
A great car overall! Would buy again
in a heartbeat! Up to 44 MPG on
Solid exterior look/design. Very
comfortable seats on long trips. No
hump in floor of back seat. Hard
plastic gaurd over trunk rim is perfect
for slidding heavy containers in
through fold down back seat.
Add a storage armrest upfront. Build
dashboard tighter to reduce shimmy
sounds. Make air conditioner provide
This car has been trouble free. It is really a
treat to have a car that is so reliable and fun
to drive. I would recommend this car to
anyone that was interested in having an
economical, carefree, and enjoyable car to
I really enjoy driving this car. It has plenty of
power. It is very economical. Other than
routine maintenance, no other repairs.
The only suggestion I would make to improve
this car would be to cut down on the road
This is the worst vehicle I have ever
owned/driven and my first car was
an '88 Isuzu Pick-up. Performance is
terrible. Engine has no power.
Suspension is trash. It bounces
everywhere like a cadillac. I have a
5sp. It never likes to go into reverse
or 2nd. I'm luck if I get 25mpg. The
car rattles everywhere. At 48k miles,
my transmission needed to be rebuilt.
