The car is now 12 years old with
140,000 miles on it. It still looks
great (repainted in '98)inside and out,
and it's NEVER failed to start for me.
I get the oil changed religiously every
3,000 miles, but I'm not otherwise too
careful with service.
After 12 years, you'd think that a lot
of things on the car would start
falling apart or at least showing
serious wear. Not so! Endurance is
better than much newer cars, and I'd
buy a used Civic over a new luxury
American-made car if they were the same
No chime if you leave the lights on,
lightweight doors that tend to slam, no
cup holders, slightly uncomfortable
