ReviewThe Honda del Sol is unlike any other Honda you will drive, you would be hard pressed to improve on this car's design. It is a very easy car to drive, with comfortable seats (even for long drives) and lots of interior room. Honda got a lot of things right in this model. Exceptional handling (0.92 g Left and Right), great acceleration (0- 60 in 7.2) and comfort. Reliability is excellent, the only thing I've has to do in the 5+ years I purchased mine is regular maintenance. Front wheel drive is great for wet or slippery conditions. I live in Seattle and drive at Highway speeds daily in the rain, ice and snow. Never had any problems.
Best FeaturesAs a targa top car, the del Sol has some great advantages over true convertibles; Quiet and comfortable in bad weather, easy to remove and replace because it stores in the trunk. The hard roof also greatly reduces break- ins as you can't slice through a metal roof with a knife.
Worst FeaturesBuy some sun block, you will have the roof off all summer.
