I've had this car for twelve years now and it has never, ever let me down. *knock wood*. I love how it handles curves when I take it on my favorite winding roads. It's still as much fun today as the day I bought it.

It's a great car to drive. I get 400 Miles to the tank! If you get the maintenance done it'll last well over 200,000 miles. It sits low to the ground but it's a lot of fun to drive. Take the top off and take it for ride.

I've used my Del Sol as a commuter car for several years now. Fun to drive and extremely reliable, only one problem (AC compressor)after 110k miles. Excellent fuel economy. Targa top much preferable to convertable. Plenty of trunk space even when targa top is in trunk. Comfortable interior, much more roomy than an S2000.

My dad & I purchased a 95' Del Sol
from a private party. It had 85xxx
miles when we bought it about a month
ago. We have already put on 1,500
miles. (My dad goes up to 100 miles a
day.) He loves it. No complants and it
drives like a top! Great gas. And so
what if the cup holders stink, we went
to Auto Zone & purchased a cup holder
that goes right through the seats &
works great. Many Stories behind the
Honda Del Sol & a name change! Yes, in
1995 Honda dropped the 'civic' part in
the title of the Del Sol. All we need
is a timing belt (in about 4k) & new
front & rear brakes (they have 30%
left in front.) Great car for teens
like me & very reliable.

First let me say, I love this car.
This is the only 2 seat convertible I
could imagine having as a primary car.
The performance is above average,
especially for a 1.5L engine. I
especially like that it's a hard top,
rather than a soft top. It makes me
feel a little safer having part of the
frame behind me when it's off, takes up
less storage space that you don't lose
when it's up and is better in the
winter. As soon as I got it, I
replaced the wheels and the stereo, but
those were my only real complaints from
the inprovements section below and were
easily replaceable. I can't understand
why Honda stopped making it.
