2013 Honda Accord EX-L w/Navigation 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl CVT)
When I purchased my first Honda, a 2013 Accord, I expected a consistent vehicle that was comfortable to drive and easy to maintain.
While the new features are nice to have, they don't outweigh the incessant rattling noise coming from the dashboard.
The dealerships don't seem to know how to fix it, which makes the situation even worse.
When you purchase a new vehicle like an Accord, you expect the Honda name to hold up.
I have a different opinion of Honda now.
I suggest a focus on less rattles inside the cabin.
there are a couple fixes owners have reported in some popular accord forums(driveaccord) as well as a video on you tube. Look up 2014 Accord rattle fixes, and you might find that source of the rattle is from a bracket from within the engine bay against the firewall. While it may not eliminate all the rattles you're hearing, it is one you might want to check out. good luck!
I just wanted to second this review. I reviewed my 13 Accord Sport as well on this site however now that I am 7k miles in ownership I can say that I have large amounts of rattles as well. Whats wierd is mine occurr at low speeds. Cruzing on the high way hitting a bump nothing, going 25mph over a small pebble and I hear a rattle. I have not said anything to dealership because I am afraid of them making something like this worse by tearing apart the dash. Otherwise Accord is good.
