With 4,000 miles on my Accord, here's an update to my original post.
Continue to be impressed with the power and fuel economy this 4 cylinder puts out; although, at times I do miss my prior 6 cyclinder car that had an additional 75 hp.
The manual transmission is a joy to operate with short throws and well defined gates.
Noticed a few quality issues such as the front defroster vent at the base of the windshield pulling up.
Cost cutting is evident on the OE carpeted floor mats.
They have a REALLY cheap feel to them.
Bluetooth is amazing.
It hooks up seemlessly to my phone and my IPad.
Rear A/C vents have good airflow for rear seat passengers.
Smart entry is awesome.
Never have to dig the key fob out of my pocket.
LaneWatch is a nice feature; however, when it is raining, drops of water collect near the camera eye reducing the effectiveness of the picture.
It renders it almost useless depending on how hard it is raining.
Split folding rear seat.
Not sure why Honda did not include this feature which really adds versitility.
Can anyone shed light on this mystery??
Needs a sliding center console arm rest.
Other Honda products have this and they are wonderful.
Would love to be able to deactivate the warning message that "driver is responsible for safe operation of vehicle" which
appears on the non-navi display for several seconds when starting the engine. Driver responsibility should be a given -but perhaps in our current society, maybe not.
