As previous Honda van owners, I felt we couldn't go wrong with the Accord when I needed to upgrade my 12-year old car. Has good pick-up from start and when on the highway and can get up to triple digits if necessary. I've had no issues with it in the first 10 months of ownership, which is what I expected. Want more speed and features? Step up to the EX/V6. Want good, reliable, safe, basic transportation? Kind of hard to go wrong with the Accord.
Remote auto-down windows is great when car has been sitting out in hot sun all day. Sliding middle console gives good position for right elbow. Highway mileage is off the charts, averaging between 32-36.
Move AUX input higher up in center console or move to dash for ease of access; higher quality console cover and carpet mats. Both see a lot of use and shouldn't start looking rough after just 6500 miles in 10 months.
