2006 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)
Review
My wife always wanted a Honda and we deceided to buy a luxury car when our Taurus broke down. The v-6 engine is very strong and the car handles great. I love the sunroof and the cd player. 48 dollars fills up the tank and that will last one week. I feel good about our purchase. Honda did a great job.
Favorite Features
Sunroof, leather seats, sound systems, v-6 power.good tires

I traded in an F150 for my Accord for gas mileage. So far I am completely satisfied with the performance and mileage of the 4cyl. My biggest complaint is the front seats are rock hard and the lumbar is too high and not adjustable. I spend a lot of time driving and have constant back pain from the seats. Despite the impressive engine, I wish I could get rid of the car already because of the seats. My other complaint is the brakes are extremely touchy and lock up very easily when wet (from rain, etc.).
Favorite Features
Engine and dash layout.
Suggested Improvements
The front seats need to go all together. Not comfortable as noted above and the material (my interior is black) attracts everything. The brakes could also be a little less touchy.
Why did Honda drop the Accord Hybrid?

By far this is the best Accord ever! On a recent trip (June 2008) the mileage computer registered 511 miles, we still had 1/8 tank left, computer showed 39 mpg. After filling up I rechecked the mpg with a calculator and it showed 40 mpg! I don't know what Honda was thinking but my Hybrid Accord is outperforming every other Hybrid out there while 260 horses provide pure zooming fun!
Favorite Features
Fit, finish, roominess, mileage, POWER
Suggested Improvements
Bring the model back! With all of the competition out there, Honda is missing not having a roomier and more powerful hybrid.
Who could ask for more?

I bought this car new and it now has 28k miles. It has been trouble free, though I do need to have the drivers window adjusted now b/c it squeaks. Recently I began driving slower (the speed limit) and it has consistently turned in 36 mpg, which is phenomenal. The car will accelerate quickly when you push it, the 4 wheel double wishbone suspension (gone on the new model) handles great and is lightweight. Honda did an excellent job on this car and I highly recommend it. I do wish it had a 6 speed manual on the 4 cylinder. My favorite feature is the electrochomatic speedo display. Great job, Honda, in creating a perfectly balanced, safe reliable, affordable car. I suggest Boston speakers
Favorite Features
fuel economy, acceleration, braking, comfort, roominess
Suggested Improvements
6 speed manual on the 4cyl (from the tsx). more options packages.

This is my first ever Honda and I have to say that so far I have NO regrets. I have always owned a Toyota and although I love Toyota, I love Honda as well! I bought this Accord with 38,000 miles on it and it rides like a dream. I love the 6 disc CD changer and the the control features in the middle are easily accessible, which was a problem in my Camry, I had to reach farther to change my radio stations. I also love the controls on the steering wheel! Awesome!! Very comfortable ride. Hugs the road. I've gotten tons of compliments on my Accord and most importantly my kids love it, too!!
Favorite Features
6-disc CD changer, fuel economy, moonroof, side curtain airbags, LOTS of power!!
Suggested Improvements
Needs power seats and moonroof controls are on the left of the steering wheel and need to be on the ceiling instead. There also needs to be a place to put the gas cap when fueling.

Purchased HAH used for $24K w/ only 7K miles. Like many, I am a little disappointed with the mpg for a hybrid but considering its a 6 cylinder, I really can't complain too much considering I average 26 mpg and have gotten up to 37 mpg on long trips. This car is so comfortable w/ leather seats, handles smooth and has great pickup. I drove a '97 Camry before this and, although I was very happy with Toyota, I really love how my HAH drives. Also have ridden in a Prius and the seats are so uncomfortable. I really have no regrets on my HAH.
Favorite Features
Smooth ride, great pickup, leather seats, sunroof, radio changer on steering wheels and buttons on dashboard simple and not over complicated.
Suggested Improvements
Just better gas mileage and pass thru trunk w/ fold down of the back seats but that's sacrificed for the storage of the hybrid battery

What a great ride! I have been driving a Mini Van for several years and due to the age of my children I no longer need a vehicle this large. I went with this vehicle due to MPG and performance. I bought this car used with 31,000 miles at 20% below Kelley Blue Book. The vehicle is very quiet, love the leather as well as the interior. The performance of a V6 with the MPG of a 4 cylinder. Despite the reviews for the Hybrid Accord I love this vehicle.

Initial mpg 22/27 calculated by driving and topping off frequently. My wife did a little better @ 24/28. She just broke 20k and now we get 25/36. There are times when we get a real bad number (quite possibly from gas station pump error). The city mileage is about the same as a regular 6-cyl. Hwy fluctuates from (minus bad readings under 21 mpg!!!) 27-37.5. The more "broken-in" the better it seems at the moment. I am really curious about the rest of folks with this car. Are you all getting better results as the vehicle gets older? One small neg is the "jerk" when you step off the brake and touch the gas petal. The work around is let the brake go, wait 2 sec then touch the gas.
Favorite Features
Awesome power. Nav is great! My non-techy wife loves it too! Usability is 10/10! It is a bit quirky though, like when you select letters, you have to touch the lower right corner of the letter. Voice activation is a WASTE. "Radio-on" turns the A/C on.
Suggested Improvements
Struts/shocks are great, the tires/wheel stinks. Made to drive "soft." The stock 17 on the reg 6-cyl would have been better (or me) though my wife loves the "softness." The car accelerates nicely but the tires "softness" rocks you to-and-fro.
it's okay

Loud road noise. Annoying. Radio is too week for proper adjustment of road noise. Problems with the heater, runs hot and cool. Remote sucks, I need to be up against the car just about, might as well use the key. Tires on this car are too expensive and not necessary for this model (speed rating wise). Pick up lags a bit. Pulls to the right even on flat roads with the explanation by trained factory techs "all Honda accords do this and we like to call it the 6 second rule", that's stupid. Did I mention the poor remote reception? Cool looking radio minimum features, no speed volume increase, mute. Wipers are poor and the defogger works 1/3 of the windshield. Otherwise great color!
Favorite Features
Color, windows roll down, a/c works and you can sit in the seats.
Suggested Improvements
Better warranty, better remote reception, better defogger, less road noise

Started with a Civic .. put 100,000 miles on it in a little over 2 years with absolutely no problems.. traded it in and upgraded to the Accord fully loaded. Love my car at 35,000 miles absolutely nothing has gone wrong. The ride is smooth .. there is a little road noise but is completely covered by light radio.. Love my XM and the voice activated navigation. Put tints on it and it's a head turner.. Could get better leather though.. LOVE IT ..
Favorite Features
Voice Activated Navigation, Stereo, XM, and Everything else
Suggested Improvements
New Leather... the leather is a little chintzy and easy to crack.. but besides that it's great
