Nice, but not a "sport" sedan
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 6M)
Review
All the normal great things you get from Honda, good design, comfort, reliability. The engine is powerful and smooth, and the 6-speed transmission adds some sportiness. But don't fool yourself, this car is sill a Honda Accord. You're not getting a "cheaper" sports sedan by going to the manual. Doesn't handle like a Buick, but leaves something to be desired. The car needs a better handling package, upgraded suspension with wider tires and upgraded brake system.
Favorite Features
Smooth engine, gas mileage, manual transmission, overall very nice car.
Suggested Improvements
Add some "sport" to the manual, with upgraded suspension, wheels/tires, and brakes.

Accord 2006
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I have been incredibly impressed at the build quality and the engineering that has gone into the Accord. I am an avid reader of anything I can find that deals with automobiles, and through my study, and now my experience, the Accord cannot be matched for value and fun to drive. I have not had one problem, and my gas mileage varies between 34 and 38 highway.
Favorite Features
For its price, is better built than any other car. I like all the features.
Suggested Improvements
The automatic up and down of the driver's side window is so fast that it is difficult to stop it near the upper position. The EX should have full power seat as standard equipment. The hood still has a manual prop to hold it open.

Problems with Hybrid
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord Hybrid 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl gas/electric hybrid 5A)
Review
I thought the bugs were out of this car when I purchased it. I was wrong. In cold weather, around 20 degrees, or less, it runs rough with a power loss and that's not acceptable for a $30,000 vehicle. I only have 3000 miles on the car. Honda replaced a "module" and the problem is still there. This tells me Honda does not know what to do. In warmer temperatures, it runs fine. I'd love to hear from other Accord Hybrid owners who have this problem, and what you did to solve it. I need help. These cars are rare and I see none on the road and no one to talk to. I'd like to give some expensive, free advice to anyone considering this Hybrid. Wait. There are problems. Thank You, Wyatt
Favorite Features
Powerful engine, great, smooth transmission, leather interior and layout, satellite radio, 30 mpg for a high performance 6 cylinder engine, :) great body styling, heated seats, moonroof, great handling, chrome dual exhaust looks impressive, solid build, impressive looking engine, and technology.
Suggested Improvements
Power passenger's seat, automatic headlights should be there for $30,000. They are not even options. Ride could be smoother with less road noise and wind noise.

2nd Honda a hit...
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
This is the first time repeating a Manufacturer, and will probably go Honda for the next time as well. After 5 trouble-free years with a 2001 CR-V, it was time to change to something a bit more 'Adult' since we didn't really care for the new CRV styling. We purchased a new '06 leftover in November from the same dealer. The Accord is a dream to drive with little or no fatigue. Fuel economy is better than the sticker,(35+ on a recent Boston trip) as was the CRV. Excellent handling without being to jarring on the road with the many obstacles here in NYC.
Favorite Features
Cavernous trunk for a car this size. Puts the Passat trunk to shame. A 'real' intermittent wiper setting. Smooth shifting transmission. Interior appointments give it a more upscale look.
Suggested Improvements
This is my first 'throttle-by-wire', and I think it could be improved by giving a bit more "feel" to the gas pedal. On highway stretches, I find my foot relaxing and settling a bit further down til I'm doing 80+ before I know it. A split rear folding seat would be a plus as well.

no bmw but 10K less
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord EX V-6 2dr Coupe (3.0L 6cyl 6M)
Review
This is actually my first Honda. When I bought it I was amazed at the trim level for the price. This has all the bells and whistles. Having researched it mostly on edmunds.com, there were no surprises, except for a little for torque steer than expected. It is extremely fun to drive, fit and finish is fantastic, the oversteer could easily be corrected, at the price, it has no peer and is 10k less then a comparable BMW
Favorite Features
very smooth 6 speed, great leather seats, nice tushy warmers.
Suggested Improvements
work on the torque steer. Styling is a little plain, doesn't look good in any color than sapphire blue.

After 10,000 Miles, here's my review
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)
Review
Yes it's dependable. It has some get up and go. But it's a dull, boring car. The automatic transmission grabs and seems clunky. Descending hills and approaching stops, the transmission holds the car back and there is no way to turn this "feature" off. Apparently the feature is called "brake assist", but there needs to be an off button for this and there is not. Its very tough to get used to. I rented a Maxima on a recent trip and that was VERY nice. Fast, fun to drive, more leg room and no grabby transmission. In my opinion, if you're interested in the Accord, test drive the Maxima first.
Favorite Features
Its rock-solid dependability. Remote all-windows-down feature.
Suggested Improvements
A smoother transmission. An off switch for brake-assist. Larger, lower seats with the ability to move further back. All wheel drive. A sportier suspension. An air conditioning/heating system that regulates the interior temperature accurately.

Best Car Ever!
Vehicle
2006 Honda Accord LX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5M)
Review
I absolutely love this car. It is reliable, runs so smoothly and looks fantastic. The only thing I really do not like is the fabric used on the seats. Everything sticks to it, and they can be hard to clean. But other than that, this is one of the best cars out there for your dollar.
Favorite Features
The car runs great, has good power, and has a good looking exterior design.
Suggested Improvements
The fabric on the seats could be improved. Everything sticks to it and it is hard to get clean because of that reason. Also when there is water on the windows (side windows in particular) it is very hard to see out of them.
