Review

I have to admit I have always been a Toyota Camry woman until this car. Love it. I am so pleased with the car, rides great, good on gas, very very roomy. I have the silver which is very good on dirt. This is just a great car and I would tell anyone to get one.

Steering wheel feels good.

Suggested Improvements

Put speakers in back. That's the only downfall

Great Accord

Review

I own a 2006 LX SE accord with automatic. I have always liked Hondas and owned a few in the last 20 years. This is yet another great product from Honda which is fun to drive, reliable and powerful. The car handles great and the 4 cylinder, 2.4 liter engine provides plenty of power. I would have preferred the manual transmission, but agreed on an auto to make everyone happy! The SE with alloys and CD changer and steering wheel audio controls just add to the fun. Great vehicle. It replaced a 1999 Mercedes E320 which turned out to be a piece of junk and had to be replaced to avoid long-term major expenditures. No more Benz for me, that's for sure.

Favorite Features

Smooth ride, good engine response, handling and ride comfort. Handsome instrument panel and dashboard.

Suggested Improvements

Make outside temp indicator a standard and add the few bucks cost to the vehicle price. Pay more attention to power window fastening mechanism. Fix the annoying brakes clicking when backing up and moving forward.

Okay car, but not worth the hype

I bought this car after hearing rave reviews and have been very disappointed. V6 has the power, but the handling is substandard. The AC comes on when car is started up. \Such a pain to have to turn it off every morning. I paid 27 for this car and trade in value 19k. Previous car was VW Passat and the Germans have the answer with handling. Will not buy another Honda, will go back to VW or look elsewhere.

V6 engine, large trunk

Suggested Improvements

Better handling for curves. Stereo is substandard. Make AC off as a default. Have doors lock automatically at low speed, make headlights come on at dusk.

I heard how great the Accord is from this website, from my experience that was wrong. My 06 Accord was the first new car I've ever purchased. I got the extended warranty, the xylon coating, and I check its vitals (oil, tire pressure, power steering, etc) weekly. I avoid rough, pot-holed, bumpy roads (and take it real slow when they can't be avoided) yet I have had soo many problems with this car. Ex.:In under 4 months my power steering started spazzing out. I had to take it in and explain to the technician (who just wanted to top off the fluid) that the reservoir shouldn't be virtually empty that quick (lots of effort went into getting them to properly inspect it).And there are more...

Favorite Features

Sunroof, smooth clutch, telescoping steering wheel.

Suggested Improvements

Get a team of mechanics that can actually fix problems. This summer I have taken in my car five times to get the same problem fixed. It works fine for a few days then the problem comes back It used to be that they made it slightly better than before, but after this last time its worse than ever.

This is the single best bang for your buck in the $26K and under category. Easily. Ride quality, style, comfort are all incredible. Sporty looking car (the V6 has enough power to back it up but the I-4 is a few ponies short). Everyone I've had in the car has complimented it.

Favorite Features

Great standard stereo, telescopic wheel, design of rear-end of car. So many options for not that much money.

Suggested Improvements

Add 20 HP. Car is very sluggish after 65 mph. Wipers need a faster setting (just a little bit faster). Headlights need to be a bit brighter. Auto-locking doors needed. No major improvements, just minor tweaks.

Surpising Sedan Power

Review

The V6 6-speed manual sedan is a purist automobile. It offer the best of both worlds - a family car, yet plenty of power to pass "boy racers" and Billy Bob's gargantuous SUV. Plenty of room for car seats in the back and comperable room for luggage space in the trunk. The ride is friendly, quiet, and comfortable; although, the vehicle stability control is too intrusive when you want to test the car. The VSC module is always on default, regardless that it is not manually turned on as it would be during wintery conditions. Make it a completely passive option and allow the owners to play in the sandbox without the oversight of a computer module.

Favorite Features

The priceless Honda reliability that American automakers will never achieve.

Suggested Improvements

I like the 17 inch rims, but the narrow rims do not allow the tire to expand its footprint - consider at least a 17x8 with wider tires, 235/45/17. The stability and handling will greatly improve. The Germans have been doing this for ages and you would think Japanese auto makers would catch on.

Review

This is my first car. It's a great first car: safe, reliable, relatively stylish. I regret getting the 4 cylinder engine though. Gas mileage is great, but it lacks the extra oomph I like on the highway or simply starting off at a green light. The interior is beautiful - I got all of the features and the navigation is extremely easy to use. In conclusion: great coupe! Great first car! If you like speed and power, get the V6.

Favorite Features

Navigation is easy to use, leather seats are luxurious, spedometer easy to read, dashboard is pretty straightforward. Voice command is easy to use.

Suggested Improvements

Automatic headlights. Less grabby brakes.

Great car! The engine is so smooth that it's hard to tell it's running at idle. Performance is super! Comfortable to drive. Quiet on highway.

Favorite Features

V6 engine is quick and smooth. Color (Desert Mist Metallic) is beautiful and easy to keep clean. Lines are aesthetic.

Suggested Improvements

There's a slight hesitation when you step on the gas pedal before it gets going. Must be the drive-by-wire response.

Cant beat a honda

Review

I baught my honda about a year ago, and I have to say that I am very pleased overall. It could be a little better in the snow, but still does ok in the winter. My only dissapointment was when I went to trade the car in a few weeks ago to upgrade to an 07, and the dealership told me that they would give me $16,500 on trade in for it. (baught new for about $25,000) a little dissapiointing seeing as thought I thaugt hondas were suppose to keep their value well. Still a great car though. I have no problem holding on to.

Favorite Features

contemporary design, and reliabilility, this car is very fun to drive, and love taking it on long trips, I cant say that about many cars.

Suggested Improvements

smoother ride, and better handling to compete with toyota and nissan. Honda trys to make the accord too much of a race car.

Great Car

Review

Overall, this is a great car. Drives very nicely & is comfortable. Two things I wish it had though are automatic one touch sunroof control, it would be nice. Also, the road noise is a little loud when traveling on the highway. Other than that, it is a great car for the price.

Favorite Features

Steering controls are great, you can switch from radio to cd on the steering wheel, so that is nice. Also, like the updated styling, new body style is really nice. V-6 performs well and has very good pickup, would definitely recommend spending the extra money on it.
