I just bought a Taffeta White Accord Coupe EX-L for 25646.00 OTD. Negotiated price before fees was 23888.00 which included destination. I am very happy with the car, and I was not expecting to be. I traded in 1 2006 Nissan 350Z touring edition because I needed a back seat for the new born, This car is really nice alternative and the sound parallels the BOSE in the Z. Got it ... Read More

Thanks for the feedback. The dealer is South Shore Honda in Valley Stream. I think they said they have three left. The only problem I see if that you are getting a car manufactured in 2006 and when you look up the value, edmonds has a dealer price of $21,000 or so, but these cars are new

The TL is definitely a nice ride. I actually almost bought one a few times over the past year, and then decided to wait till now. So when comparing price I figured it might be worth it to spend the tiny bit more and get a 'NEW" accord, over a recertified TL. The pro's about the TL are that it will be recertified with the full warranty and the car has ... Read More

I would agree and say that there aren't a ton on the road, but enough to start noticing them. Anyone think the 4 cylinder is enough power? I had myself, a friend, and the sales guy in the back seat and the 4 definitely seemed to struggle a bit getting up to speed. I realize a Honda isn't a sports car by any means, but I definitely don't want to feel ... Read More

I dont think i would do accord to accord swap. VSA is good if you live in the area with alot of snow, but you can just drive more carefully and you will be fine with it. or just get winter tire with the extra money you have to dish out to get a newer accord. Accord to civic .. maybe. I really dont think mpg saving will justify what you lose ... Read More

2013 Accord EX-L Coupe V6 with Navi

Purchased this today from Weir Canyon Honda in So Cal. Negotiated price (all done by email and phone before going to dealer) was $29734 including destination. Sales tax 7.75%, doc fee $80. It was their only vehicle like this and other dealers in the area did not have any in stock. Color is orchid white pearl which is what I wanted anyway. I might have been able to pay a few ... I really would like an Accord EX with leather. I think a 2008 EX with leather would cost quite a bit more than $20,000. Does anyone have any advice concerning what I should offer for a 2006 Accord EX with leather?

I need help in determining a fair price to pay for a 2006 Honda Accord EX-L with 20,300 miles. The dealer is asking $19,800. Your help will be greatly appreciated as I feel like a novice when it comes to buying a car.

No, but they were on all Accords that had leather seats (EX-L models), which the car in question did. All 2005 and later Accords had side curtain airbags.

I've shopped for both lately and can tell you that the Fusions are going for about the same as Accords of the same year. Having driven the 2006 Fusion, I'd pick an Accord any day. The Fusion handles fine, but the 4 cylinder is weak and noisy. The car just doesn't feel like it's in the same league as the Accord. More recent Fusions may be better, and the Accord definitely ... Get the Accord, if for no other reason that it has side curtain airbags and the Fusion doesn't. Accords at 94,000 miles are as tight or tighter than a Fusion at half the mileage. Plus your heart already told you that you want the Accord -- now with the safety bonus your head will go along, too.

As an insurance agent, I get this sort of question all the time. Customers will ask my opinion on what vehicle they should get for their teenage kids. I keep a list of cars to recommend based (in order of importance) on safety, reliability, performance (as in "lack of") and fuel economy. It amazes me how many parents gravitate toward SUVs (especially mid/full-sized ones) thinking they're the best choice of vehcile ... Read More

I have an '05 Accord 5 speed EX-L. This is the first car that I have followed Honda's recommended service to the letter and then some. I have 107,000 trouble free miles. I believe that when you keep it serviced like they recommend that you keep it in top operating condition and that it will pay off. I really don't consider that I have wasted money on that.

I agree with you about Honda styles. I have an '05 Accord EX-L Coupe which I really love. However, I don't think the style is that great. After I saw the new 2012 Civic four door, I posted a comment in that forum about Honda's lousy designs. I was "blasted" for saying anything negative about Honda. I do think Honda's styles are in the negative. The 2008+ Accord Couple looks awful. ... Read More

Have any of you with a manual transmission started using a synthetic transmission fluid/oil instead of the conventional type? The only issue I ever experienced prior to 100k with any Honda 5-speed was a aversion to shifting easily into Reverse. Around 200k, my '93 Accord started balking at quick shifts into 3rd, but double-clutching did the trick when necessary. In 2006, I jumped ship and bought my first non-Honda vehicle, a ... Read More
