2005 Honda Accord EX 2dr Coupe w/Leather and Navigation (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
This is my first Japanese car. So far, I am really enjoying it. I bought it for the safety (front, side, and side curtain airbags and a good structure), the comfort, and the gas mileage. I was used to a gas-guzzling Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, and the Honda is head and shoulders better in all categories. It's smooth, quiet, gets great gas mileage (30 MPG so far).
I like the design of the interior, and the materials are very high in quality. I like the heated seats, the integrated, high-tech look of the dash and console, and the controls all operate positively. The engine is very peppy, and the transmission is smooth and composed. I really enjoy the XM radio.
The sunroof needs a one-touch open/close feature. The cabin materials are high in quality, but there are several creaks/rattles in the cabin. I didn't expect this in a Honda. The engine is also a bit rough on startup. Altogether, though, a fine car that I would recommend to anyone.
