I just looked on Honda owner's link, and it has EBD listed for my car. I still don't believe it has EBD because it says nothing about EBD in the service manual or owner's manual. If it had EBD wouldn't the techs need information on it for repairs? Read More...

jans57, Thanks for your comments regarding road noise/other noises. Maybe we were just hypersensitive because when you are taking a "test drive" you are really listening carefully. I seemed to notice the road noise. My wife (in the test of the 4 cyl EX), notice the high pitched winding sound of the trans. (note, she currently drives a 6 cyl 1999 EX so maybe the gear ... I had a similar hard time starting my 2004 Accord. I had trouble with the remote start not fully starting the car. It would try twice and then return to normal (with nothing running). I also had trouble starting the car at various times. I tried the new battery (on my own thinking I was smart), still had the problem and tried another new battery thinking I had purchased ... You may want to get the battery tested. Autozone tested mine free (still in the car). My battery was weak, and it was causing various electrical problems with my car (including instrument cluster and A/C operation). Read More...

I'm thinking of leasing for 48 months - am aware that warranty is 36 months. I'm assuming that the Accord is a pretty safe bet, repair-wise - and that nothing too outrageous will happen in during months 37 - 48, assuming gentle driving & normal wear & tear.
