2004 Honda Accord Sedan EX 4dr Sedan w/Leather and Navigation (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
The 4 cyl is powerful for city but
lacks just a little on the highway. I
would still get the 4 over the 6. I
get about 30mpg combined on the
recommended 87 octane. The leather
seats are very comfortable and
supportive. I wouldn't buy one
without the Nav and voice activation.
It makes the car and changes the whole
look of the dash.
Navigation, voice activated radio,A/C.
Leather seats, steering wheel radio
controls. Side, and curtain airbags.
Solid feel while driving.
Allow people to specifically order
Hondas. I don't want or use the
sunroof but to get the EX you must get
it. I want to be able to have factory
installed Xenon headlamps. Illuminate
the steering wheel controls.
2004 Honda Accord Sedan EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Smoothe riding, smoothest shifting I've
ever experienced. This car handles like
a dream, and rides like one too. Peppy
for a 4 cylinder. We still have one
that the kids drive that has 230,000
miles on it, and no major repairs yet.
moon roof, transmission, and like the
feature with remote that lets the
windows down, to release the inside
heat, when unlocked with it.
2004 Honda Accord Sedan EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5M)
Honda makes the best shifting manual
transmission in this category. Love
the car, get 27-29mpg in mixed
driving. 32-34mpg at high-speed
interstated driving. Handling is
decent w/ EX model. However, this is
a torque engine, not much top-end kick
to it, just a steady pull all the way
to redline. No problems at all except
sunglass holder pops open on its own -
should be a warranty fix when I get
around to it. No reservations about
this purchase after 6,000 miles.
Styling, sunroof, supportive seats, cd
changer, lots of trunk space. Lots of
interior storage. Cupholders in doors
are a nice touch.
Heated rearview mirrors would be nice.
Would like a higher trim strip on side
to prevent door dings.
2004 Honda Accord Sedan EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)
The car has some rattles around the
moonroof and the windows creak if they
are only open an inch or two when
driving on anything but the smoothest
I only experience decent performance
when on the expressway or not in
crowded city traffic. If you are
driving in the 20-40 mph range, the car
seems to lug and be unresponsive when
you step on the gas.
The headlights dim when idling at a
stoplight or whenever the compressor
The brake pedal sinks if you are
braking slowly and go more than 30 feet
or so, the pedal will sink down and you
need to press harder to have to car
continue to brake.
Fit and finish (excluding rattles).
Everything lines up much better on this
car the any others I've owned
All of the amenities (htd lthr, dual
a/c, xm radio, etc.)
Lighted steering wheel controls
