Winter maintenance
I have a Kia Rio (2002) and Honda Accord (2008). Both automatic and parked in parking lot. I live in Northern Virginia/DC Metro Area. I would say we have moderate winter. I would be out of country for a month. (late November to late December) To keep the cars okay do i need to make the arrangement so someone can start the engine periodically (once a week, once in two ... Read More...
Re: 2008 Honda Accord VCM Burns Oil [elliott2]
When I bought my honda new, I was told by a number of people that if you ever have any problems with it it will be a transmission. I had several put in mine. (I also had some seat belt recalls and things like that, but no big deal on that.) Honda lost a class action lawsuit that required them to fix transmissions from 1998-2002, but I was unaware the problem ran into 2003. ... Read More...

Re: Honda Timing Belt Replacement Advice [zendao]
I have a 2002 Accord Sedan DX. It has 139 K on it. I had the timing belt replaced at 72K ( I didn't realize you could go to 100K). My mechanic (who replaced it the first time) this I should replace it now before winter (I'm in NH). Should I wait? Should all the belts and water pump be done again? Read More...

Re: 2002 Honda Accord PWR window problem [smadures]
Probably going to need a new regulator for the window, usually around 125.00 with a new motor. Pretty simple swap, about an hour. Read More...
Re: 2002 Honda Accord PWR window problem [smadures]
Sounds like your regulator cable broke. Bad thing is, I don't think you can buy just the part that's broken. They sell the regulator as a whole, if not the motor too, which means big bucks. Pushing both switches at the same time, should have just canceled the switches out electrically. It should not have forced the window in both directions. Maybe the cable was about ... Read More...
2002 Honda Accord PWR window problem
So it seems that I was trying to lower the rear window with the driverside window control and my son was trying to raise the window with the controll on the backseat door at the same time. The window slipped most of the way in the window slot. I can hear the motor trying to go up or down when I push the power window button but the window doesn't move. Does anyone know what ...
