In March 2002, I picked up my '02 EX
coupe with the I4 engine and M/T (in
Eternal Blue). It's a blast to drive.
It looks GREAT. It's comfy and sporty
and just a little bit different than
the other choices out there. I tested
both the Dodge Stratus R/T and Toyota
Solara coupes. The driver's
compartments were unbelieveably
cramped ...but I fit perfectly in the
Honda. It's not the fastest thing off
the line, but on the open roads it'll
hold its own.
Stick shift! 6-disc in-dash CD player.
Moonroof! All standard ...how can you
They coaxed 200hp out of the Prelude
engine, and THAT's a 4-cyl. Why only
150hp from the Accord? That's a
disappointment, but then again the V6
in my old Pontiac was only pushing
155hp ...so 150hp from a fuel-efficient
I4 isn't so bad.
