I've never, ever heard of this happening before with the 2.3 engine. The only thing I can think of is that the valve adjustment was never made (it's part of general maitenence) leading to carbon deposits and an over heating valve, but that's a stretch. Or maybe your timing belt broke and the valve hit the piston??Report it
