Spray wires and connecters with LPS ,WD 40 or similar fluid to remove moister/dampness. Spray starter fluid into throttle body and try to start. If it hit/fires than the electrical is okay. Than must check fuel delivery. Is the check engine light coming on?

I also looked at both the accord and the camry. The camry does not drive sporty, except for the SE version. Toyota also nickels and dimes for every option, unlike Honda which has one price for each trim level. My last honda accord (1997) had 168,000 miles when I sold it. I bought the accord! I got a great deal on it too. I got a 2009 Accord V6 EX-L for ... Read More

There is a way to do it. You have to remove the center console to access it. If you search on-line for instructions on how to replace the radio in a 1996 Honda, it's essentially the same steps. It's very easy and should only take 15-20 minutes to do. I have almost no mechanical aptitude and I found it very easy.

I have 183,000 miles on my '96 Accord LX Auto, and only wish it was a VTEC with a 5-speed. Don't want the V6, and would give up the autobox, although it has been rock-solid.
