Hybrid Honda Accord

Disappointed in my new Accord Hybrid

The main reason I bought a hybrid was to get much better gas mileage than I was getting with my previous vehicle. So far I'm quite disappointed. I'm only getting (so far) about 26 mpg (I was getting 20-21 mpg with my 1995 Honda Accord Wagon). In fact, I'm even thinking of trading in my brand new 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid for another car with much better mileage. Any recommendations? ... Read More...

More things I like about my HAH!

"Logical, well-organized, well-balanced...people" love the intelligence and the innovative spirit from Honda/ Acura. Honda's amenities and the arrangement of everything in a Honda always have impressed me. The interior space and everything from a Honda please me very much. If one looks at the interior of the other (losers) cars he/ she will very much appreciate ... Read More...

Re: how do I remove front rotor? [rickfifty]

The steering knuckle has to be removed first, rotor & hub removed from knuckle (bolts are behind), then rotor removed from hub:   Brake Disc (Rotor) Honda Accord/Prelude 1984-1995 Repair Guide   1990-95 Accord     Loosen the lug nuts, then raise and safely support the vehicle on jackstands. Hybrid Honda Accord

Re: [hondamon]

Hi Tim,   You are so right. Only HAH's experienced, non-bias and objective drivers/ owners can say much about the HAH. I feel it runs better and better day by day when it is approaching the break-in mileage.   The saying "Girls drool to the luxury cars" may apply to single yong guys/ gals who do not have to be much concerned about the hard-making money and ... 2005 Accord EX V-6 Sedan

I just purchased a new 2005 Accord as my daily driver to replace my 1995 Prelude SE which has 215,000 miles on it. This is my 4th Honda and the first car I've ever purchased with an automatic transmission. I've always purchased sticks but I recently moved and now face urban commuter traffic which made me decide to try an automatic. I'm going to hang onto the Prelude ... Read More...

Re: HAH is overpriced!! [viet]

FYI, I do not need to buy a new car but my 16 years old son "loves to drive" after he got his license 2 days ago. So he is going to drive my V6 2002 boxy Accord with less then 23K miles to school. This monster runs like brand new and accelerates like...Heaven. Therefore, I have to buy a new car (good reason and justification right? HUH ! LOL). Otherwise, my 200K miles Accord ... Read More...

Nissan Maxima vs. Honda Accord

Re: Go for the Maxima [attilauy]

Accord is no match to Maxima. Not sure about the hybrid Accord. However, even though the hybrid maybe more responsive (big IF), I still vote for the OLD MAXIMA, not the ugly NEW Maxima. Accord looks too bland like a regular vanilla. I have to disagree with you on that one. At 6'2", I fill out all corners of the interior of each car, front or back. The Honda has more room ... Honda Accord Owners: Problems & Solutions

Re: My 1995 V6 EX-L - Good bad and ugly [iman629]

So many problems all at once? Perhaps this is b/c you just started commuting with what was previously a local driver - or is it maybe you're being a little "promoted" by your service shop. With the brakes, I had a '91 Accord EX-4 cyl. that had a similar problem - after a second set of rotors started to warp and wobble inside of 20k, I went to a different repair shop. The ... How to replace a Tail Light Assembly

A piece of glass is broken on the rear tail light of my 1995 Honda Accord LX 4 DR AT. I think I will have to replace the Tail Light Assembly. If I buy it on the Net, would I be able to replace it myself. I have replaced tail light bulbs - nothing more than that. If instructions are available, please post them or point out the URL for this. Thanks in advance. Read More...
