Hi, I'm just the wife of a very experienced mechanic, and for the past two and half weeks he has been diagnosing the PGM-FI, the low fuel pressure, the ECM, IAT, ground wires, blue wires, white and green wires, he replaced the 70.00 relay under the steering wheel but the original wasn't bad. Just a suggestion, you may want to weed through this sight to reach a forum that might relate to your vintage/year of Honda/Make. I believe you are posting in the 1994-1997 Accord page. Out of curiosity, I was wondering if you also had a separate AC button as well? If so is that light engaging?
Well I'd replace the brake light switch, a simple thing, and see what that does for you. Otherwise, you may need to go to onboard diagnostics.

In spite of its slight front end vibrations, it was amazingly smooth and quiet at 70 mph. It just seemed so well put together, and this was a 167,000 mile car that needed a little TLC. ... Read More
I don't remember a non-conservative Accord since 1990. I don't mean they have been bad-looking (I'm partial to the 1994-1997 design) but they certainly have been conservative for nearly 20 years.
I know I'm biased since I have one, but the Gen 5 (1994-1997) Accord had the best combination of being unoffensive yet stylish with the shoulder line that ran the length of the car.
My first impression lends me to see this car as having the front end the Acura RL should have had. In fact, the whole shape looks better to me. Once again, the design goes back to conservative. In 1990-1993, the design was squarish. For 1994-1997, Honda played up the angles. Then, in 1998, Honda squared stuff back off, and went conservative, eliminating some character. 2003 brought a more polarizing, angular design. ... Read More
my 97 had a dashlight controller/dimmer module with a little twisty knob to one side of the steering column....perhaps this module is faulty. Don't throw a wrench at me, but is yours dimmed all the way?
I just noticed something (or thought of it anyway). The Honda speedometers have been climbing in top-speed for years, at 10MPH per model. 1986-1989? 120 MPH. 1990-1993? 130 MPH. 1994-1997: 140 MPH. 98-02: 150 MPH. 03-07: 160 MPH. Just mildly interesting. Will the 2008 Accord have a 170 MPH speedo? :)
Sounds like the switch to me (not making contact in park light position).
Dash lights (tachometer etc) and rear lights do not come on when I turn on my headlights at night. My brake lights work as well as the headlights and high beams. I have tried to follow a wiring schematic to fix the issue but after replacing the head light relay (under the dash) for $100 and not correcting the problem I don't know what to check next. I have checked all ... Read More
"I owned both (V6 versions) and drive both the same way (aggressive, floor the gas pedal, over 85mph on the highway whenever possible)." "2006 Sonata - 16 to 18 mpg on average. Very poor." You worry about MPG and race the car whenever you can A Motorcycle will be a better choice for that, not a 3500LB sedan. I drive my 06 LX Sonata just like you drive yours, and still ... Read More
I have a 94' Accord EX, the passenger side windows and the rear driver's side window of my vehicle do not roll down, This isn't meant to be an insult, but I've seen it happen before, so bear with me... Do you have the power window switches "locked"? If they are locked, only the driver's window will work, but the other three will not respond. It's just a thought. For your ... Read More
in my '94, the one holding the relays for the doors was in the engine compartment. you could have a bad relay or relays. you've got a fuse box in the engine compartment (black box), and two fuse blocks I think on either side of the dash assembly. open the doors and look at the dash from the side, you should see two access doors. can't tell you the actual fuse ...
