1992 is long ago, as far as midsize sedans go. The 92 Accord didn't even offer a V6 engine, but it was much smaller and lighter than the Accord of today. Some people want every safety item they can possibly get, and some want all the power they can get. Hi fishpotato, In my opinion you are comparing two different classes of car. For some reason North Americans are comparing Jetta's to Civic's. My suggestion would be to look up the parts you need at one of the 2 bigger muffler manufacturers. www.maremont.com or www.walkerexhaust.com Both will have online catalogs showing the parts you need. Code 15= Input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor. Sorry, don't know exactly where it is located on your transmission. Do you have a service/repair manual? duke, what business is it of yours what my age is? I have never leased a Honda before. My first Honda was a 1979 Accord. Purchased new for $6,100. I owned that car for 9 years and the only thing I had to replace was tires, a water pump ($60 part I installed myself) and the battery - which is not covered by an EW. Honda and Toyota are two of the best proven vehicles on the road, no question. Having owned both Honda and Toyota that have had numerous repairs, my 91 Honda Accord 2 starter coils fail and a part in the auto tranny that makes the tranny shift, I forgot what it was called, failed all before 100K. So if you buy Toyota's and Honda's, I'd say they are NEVER worthless if kept in good shape. People know they are bulletproof to about 300K if maintained properly Honda and Toyota are two of the best proven vehicles on the road, no question. Several years ago (1990 era) Accord was in 1st place, than Ford Taurus. The next year the reverse was true, and so on for a few years. A few years ago Nissan was bought out by Renault.
