I'm not aware that my insurance rates have been adversely affected by the remote start feature. If you have any actual doccumentation of this, I would be interested in seeing it. the fusion's handling is nothing to write home about. It is marginally better than my mom's 1999 Camry but worse than the 2007 Camry SE I had on my last trip and much worse than my old 1997 Honda Accord. Make it a Mazda/Ford or Hyundai lot, maybe - those cars have the resale values that testify to such shenanigans. One cannot generalize an entire vehicle line to resale value. the 96 was great, but not flawless???? No vehicle is flawless. I have owned a Toyota Celica, Honda Accord, Mitsubishi Eclipse and currently Mazda6 and Subaru Impreza (wife). 1991 Toyota Celica ST was blowing blue smoke at 100K, automatic tranny modulator went at 93K, A/C went at around 80K. Hi All, This is my first ever post. I have an automatic 1991 Accord EX w/ 200K miles on it. The car no longer starts and it is stuck in park. I can shift into neutral using the key unlock mechanism on the shift console, but the car won't start in neutral either. All relevant fuses are OK. I've always liked the way Hondas handle overall. I don't know if I ever posted the story about the terrible experience I had back in 1991 when I was looking for a second vehicle and the Accord was tops on my list. I had a problem where my brake pedal went to the floor on my 91 Accord. Pumped once and the would work again. A brake pedal going to the floor is apparently the sign of the brake master cylinder being worn out (seals worn out). When I mentioned the symptom to the dealer service dept. they immediately said you need a new master cylinder. They replace mine. The problem ... Read More...
