2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid 4dr SUV 4WD (6.0L 8cyl gas/electric hybrid 4A)

Review

We did our research on a large SUV which could accomplish the flexibility in travel and towing. Along with the gas mileage for our family. After extensive research we felt the premium paid for the Yukon Hybrid was the choice for us. It is a superior family vehicle for city pick up and delivery of children and a great vacation transport.

Favorite Features

Great towing capability. Highway mileage on vacation around 25MPG. Combined mileage 21 MPG. Towing two horse trailer 15MPG. Around town 18MPG. It is a very comfortable car. I feel my family is very safe with the features and size of this vehicle.

Suggested Improvements

Storage could be better with third row seats in. Third row seats are heavy. Have to remove third row seats for better storage. I was hoping for better mileage in town. But 18 MPG is not bad for a vehicle this size. You do need to "learn" to drive the vehicle to maximize higher MPG for city driving.
