    They replaced my throttle body outside my warranty under goodwill. The new Yukons don't cover the throttle body under the powertrain warranty, but your 2007 should have it covered under the powertrain. If your warranty expired, call Gmc directly and ask them to cover. Good luck!

    Well, prior to taking my Yukon in a couple weeks ago, I had 99,200 miles. The problem started at about 75,000 miles. I drive anywhere from 250-400 miles a week so they add up quickly. The dealership somehow put 175 miles on it while it was in the shop, which they documented on the paper work. I now have 99,985 miles. The service dept manager said my warranty will expire March ...     Hello I just brought a 2007 yukon denali a week ago and now I took it to go get service because it stop on me in the middle of the freeway I took it back to the dealer and they told me the warranty doesn't cover body throttle . Why is GMC not recalling a problem that they know alot of people are having with this SUV .

    jhoov07, You really need to protect yourself and look into the lemon law requirements in your state. I was outside the window to have the case arbitrated through the BBB - 6 months from your warranty expiring. GMC kept fixing my truck, even when it was out of warranty to string me along. It is good that you have an open mind, but just remember that once you are out of warranty all bets will be off. We are all appeased until we have to start paying for the repairs!     Unsatisfied 16 you said your Yukon was burning oil. My 07 Sierra 5.3 L would burn more than 5 litres of oil per oil change.     When our vehicle received the "Reduced Engine Power" message, our mechanic found a loose spark plug & a few blown fuses & it went away. Never happened again.

    Well I guess its time for me to officially join the discussion at 92k miles. My transmission is running hot and having problems with 3/4. I thought I was covered with the power train warranty, but the local dealer just told me I was 19 days too late. I am anxiously waiting to hear back from GM Customer Service. Not happy at all if I have to drop $3,000.

    The transmission that is in the gmc's 4L60E & 4L65E have weakness in the 3-4 clutches. I am fairly confident that is your problem. You are looking at a rebuild.

    Is that consistent with your own description of how you have serviced your car? Pretty much. I actually read the owner's manual on the van before I bought it to try to avoid any excessive maintenance requirements. My next car is going to have the hood welded shut. ;)

    Not only is in in fact normal for engines to use oil, it actually has a bright side! The additional oil replenishes additives that would by use normally wear out. I know you approximated your oil useage, and consider it excessive. Are you experiencing any failure of the spark plugs causing misfires? Do you have visible smoke from the tailpipe?     Your situation is not an indiction that anything is wrong, and that's the point I'm really trying to make. You will still need to change the oil and filter when it's due.     Beasst, Just to let you know. I had to go through the deflector, it does not work. They also replaced the PVC at the same time. Then they replace my heads, then they finally replace my rings and that worked, but I now have smoke come out of the tailpipe, but it does not use oil. Crazy. Yes having the work done at the dealer leaves a paper trail with what work has been done, but it doesn't officially report the concern.     The best thing I did was contact GM directly. They then worked with the daealer who found bulletin # 10-06-01-008B that applied to the problem. They added an oil deflector, and we will check the consumption again in 1000 miles. No idea why the dealer didn't contact GM the first 12 times I brought it in.     Well someone would tell you to go to the dealer and have them reprogram your module. But why pay them over 100 dollars for that. Just disconnect your battery compleately and that should take care of the problem. I was there and dealership only wanted money. Disconnecting your battery reseats the module you will have no problems after that.

    Hi, Your only solution is going to the dealer and have reprogram your keyless entry modulo...I had a problem like it with mine XL'07 Denali(actually has 214 K miles) and I was charge $128 for reprogram the modulo(and if you like your remote starter and unlock and lock your car in the middle of winter)is well worth it.

    Had similar weird electrical problems with my 1996 GMC, after about 5 years. Replacing the battery cable (which had corroded) fixed all the gremlins. Depending on how the battery cable vibrated and sat, it would sporadically work.

    I can tell you that if the oil consumption is 1qt or more for every 1K miles, it is not considered normal. As a matter of fact there are service bulletins that even show you this.
