I purchased my 2006 Yukon last September 2005. I now have 24,000 miles on it. Over the last month I have had it into the dealer three times for the same problem. I bought my 2006 Yukon last September 2005. Within a month I brought it back to the dealer due to a creaking sound coming from the suspension. I experienced it when braking and weight was tranfered forward on the front suspension and also when turning or going over speed bumps (at very slow speed 2 to 3 mph). Picked up my 2007 Denali on 5/2/2006. Black on black, nav, 2nd row buckets, 22" wheels. You can buy the chrome GMC for the grill for about $65.00. Dealer charged me another $55 to put it on (probably ripped me off) :) . Really looks great! Read More...

Hi im new too this forum i just purchased a 2006 gmc Yukon. I love it i have only one problem. Inbetweek 45 and 50 MPH i get this weird noise. it almost sounds like a grinding noise for a few seconds. then it goes away. it only happens it you are on the throttle a little bit. at about 1200 rpm. i only have about 1200 miles on the truck. im not sure if this is normal or not. but ... I'm not crazy about the new Tahoe/Yukon exterior. It looks too "modern" I guess, plastic bumpers are not as "trucky" as the chrome on the current versions. Plus plastic gets all scratched up. At least it's not covered in Rubbermaid like the Avalanche. Someone who posted earlier read my mind. It looks like a big TrailBlazer, or worse... an Uplander... The GMC is ... Read More...
