If they replaced the disturbertor and it is still doing it check the module on the back of the disturb. and the plug in. I had a transam and it was all it was. Also check where the coil pack wire harness, should have 2 or 3 wires to it is snapped on completely. Had my car hauled to dealer 4 weeks in a row and it was doing the same ... Read More
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali that has the Auto Leveling system. A few months ago, I was hit from behind, on the drivers side. The car went under and hit the tire. Immediately, I notice the compressor coming on a lot more and when I put on a trailer, it was every 3 or 4 minutes. The compressor was replaced, but problem was still there. Now I can't pull ... This is just my opinion... kinda long, but just want to share my experience... When buying an used car from an unknown source not only has to do with some luck, but also how well the vehicle has been maintained/driven by the previous owner(s) and your ability to detect any potential problems (i.e. engine/transmission/axles fluid leaks...) before deciding to buy. In this Yukon forum, I have seen several owners with 200K+ ... Read More
Yes, Yes. I had a door handle replaced on my 2007 GMC Yukon Denali XL on Monday. Saturday the car was dead and the speakers too. It would continue to die if let set for several hours. My guess is there was a drain on the battery. So I took it to GM thinking the work on the door shorted something out. They didn't find the problem but suggested trying to ... Read More
Your wheel speed sensors need to be cleaned. It is a pretty simple repair by the dealer but time consuming. The dealers don't seem to like making the repair though. I found out It was a recall on some of the vehicles but not the Yukon. It costs about $500. I paid for the repair and then wrote a complaint letter to my dealer. The service mgr at the dealer was ... I'm hoping someone else has had this problem with their Yukon Denali. Since 2005, when we purchased the vehicle, we have had an electrical issue where at random times the entire electrical system will "reset" while driving. The DVD Navigation/radio resets, the DVD Entertainment system in the back resets, the speakers sound like they "pop" as if the audio stream is interrupted, and all lights inside do a quick on/off reset. ... My fuel gauge on my 2000 Yukon Denali, has started to vibrate in position after the vehicle has been running about 10 or 15 minutes. The vibration is so fast that the needle looks twice as wide as it is. When driving the dampening of the needle is not always there anymore. If you turn the vehicle off then back to the on position the gauge swings clockwise past the full ... Read More

Just wondering what you found out on this. I have a 2000 Denali w/ 125,000 and driving into work this AM i saw the check gauges light as it was turning off when I was getting on the highway. I noticed it again accelerating after getting off the highway. The second time I saw the oil pressure drop from a "normal" range down to 0 and immediately go back to a ... Read More
Sounds like a distributor. I have a 1995 2 dr Tahoe and it stopped all of a sudden on me like that. I waited 15 minutes and it started back up. But, it just got worse and worse...then i took it to a shop and it was the distributor (about 400 bucks). Knowing things changed from 1995 to late 90's on those things, it could be something else. Computer problems don't ... Read More
I will never own another chevy or GMC again, I've been having problems with my front end on my Yukon. there are a number of dealers on ebay selling denali xl's for more than $10k off sticker. prior to today i suspect that it only included the $2000 GM cash. I own a 2000 GMC yukon denali, whenever I lock the doors with my remote the alarm goes off a few minutes later, now this does not happen all the time, also I pulled the fuse for the horn because my battery was dead one morning, that didnt help because the light flash when the alarm goes off, and that is what drained the battery ....any ideas???
I am now having the exact same problem as you with my 2000 GMC Yukon Denali. What is the status on yours?
I had a 2000 Chevy conversion van that had the exact same problem as you have described. At the time, my dealership also just re-programmed its on-board computer initially; but, I was lucky, my ex-van's engine quit before I even drove it out of the service lot. The entire computer was then replaced and the problem was solved...
They thought it was fried, but then it responded to them when they accessed it at the dealer so the dealer put a new program on it and it worked, at least for a day, then it died again.
So they figured the computer was fried. If they figured it was fried I am wondering why they didn't replace the chip. tidester, host SUVs and Smart Shopper

I think the fast flash is the vehicle's signal to you that you have a blown bulb. From racermd's post on the GMC Yukon XL / Yukon XL Denali forum: If you go this route on the turn signals, you'll need to make sure you get a "load balancer" - a resistor that tricks the signal switch into thinking you don't have a blown bulb (LEDs pull less current than an ...
