  I absolutely hate ABS brakes, on my 1997 GMC Suburban, especially in the winter months. They are like having no pedal at all. A skid is much easier to handle that almost driving through what ever it is that you are going to hit. Recently, the ABS has been going off just before a complete hault, also in reverse.
