I have a 2003 Gmc Sierra 1500 with dual heat control. The air conditioning works fine but when you slide the controls up to heat the heat only works on the drivers side and the passenger side still blows cold air. I have 63,452 miles on my 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew cab. I have replaced the brakes pads, rotors and batter. The brake petal still gets hard to press on after a while and the brakes seem like they are sticking. I have talked to a few repair people and tried every thing they suggested. No trouble codes? Fuel pressure is a likely cause. Hook up a pressure guage and see if the pressure drops below 55psi during the stall. Other likely causes are an extreemly dirty throttle body, or a malfunctioning idle air control valve. Start with checking the fuel pressure, Vortec's are very fuel pressure sensative. I have a 2003 gmc sierra 1500 4wd with 4.8L engine. My truck stalls more frequently when turning at low rpms but will also stall sitting at a stop. At a stop, the truck will surge before it stalls. I have been told it could be the fuel pump but I am not sure. Any ideas? Read More...

I am not sure its the front rotors and calipers ...are a problem.. but rather the symptom. I have put new rear calipers from SSBC on my 2003 GMC Sierra, not sure it matters what type, but rather the rear calipers are swapped for something that works. I also added brake SS-lines. Hello ttaupier1, I have rotor warping problems also. I own a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500, 2WD. Last July/2006, I experienced brake pulsation. Dealer determined that all 4 rotors were warped. kitsch, I doubt it makes any difference that you have a Canadian model - I don't think they're substantially different from the US versions. The answer to your question can be founbd in a book called "Tire Guides". But we need more detail: OK we got a 2003 GMS Sierra Pickup 1500 C or K? (4X2 or 4X4?)
