i have a 1992 gmc sierra 1500 with a 4.3 engine. how do i get the power steering pump pulley off so i can replace head gaskets? does it screw off or is there a set screw in the middle or do i need a pulley puller? Read More...

I have a 1992 had the same problem and it is the EGR to a degree. What is happening is your eprom is signalling the vacuum to open and close the EGR at the wrong times and when it does this it cause the surging and stalling effect. Since emmission control here in northern NY is lax. rather than screw with the electronics. I simply unhooked the EGR. (plugged the hose) so ... Read More...

I've decided to purchase a GMC 2500HD Sierra. It's a used model with 14K miles. Clean Title, etc from Car Fax. Looks like it was a demo - Hitch has never seen a receiver. 2500HD SLE 8.1 with Alli 5 Auto OD Tranny, 4.10, 4WD, Tow package, XCab, 8Ft Bed.
