Bottom line, if you want to 'see' where you are going, don't buy this truck.
This is my third GMC, and it is becoming a bigger disappointment every day.
I have pictures to post if I could figure out how to do it..
ps... my ride is an SLE 5.3 double cab...
that model is not listed in the choices above
Better mileage than my previous GMC
1. Worst headlight system in any vehicle I have ever owned. Projector bulbs are a lousy feature. they do not get any brighter when on high beam, limited 'side' visibility, easy to out-drive the beam.
Had I driven this vehicle at night
prior to buying it, I would not have made the purchase.
2. Get rid of the 'double cab' design, it reduces the leg room in the back seat by about 3 inches.
Go back to the 'kidnap' door design, much easier access to the rear seat and more room for passengers.
3. seal up the inner and outer bed wall to stop road debris from coming into the bed...
snow, rain, dirt, etc...
and fix the gap around the tailgate to stop more of the same problem
