  I have a 2000 GMC Savana conversion passanger van, and the sending unit for the gas tank sticks at 3/4 tank. I didn't know this until the 1st time I ran out of gas.   we own multiple 3500 long wheelbase work vans and have found them to be extremely efficient and reliable. Our favorite one is a 2000 Savana with 101,000 all city miles and over 4000 hours of stationary operation at 1700 rpm (equivalent to 50 mph!).   My 2000 GMC Savana with a 7.4L motor has delayed starting that is intermitting. It happens sometimes at first starting or after its warm it is verry inconsistant. It also starts at the first turn over.   An interesting thought hit me regarding what may be a possible cause of the fast failure rate for the mirrors. One cause may be road vibration, but a more likely cause is using a high pressure wand while washing your van.
