  Also check your HVAC fuse (30amp) onnthe drivers side ebgine compartment.Those small fuses are hard to spot so pull it out to check or use a circuit tester.

  my jimmy starts when cold or when hot but if i shut it off leave it for 20 minutes i have to roll it over and shut the key off about 10 times then it will start again never quits while driving no miss or hesatation or stumble you can hear the fuel pump when this happens any ideas ??

  Okay, before you change the fuel pump, get where you can listen to the fuel tank and have someone turn the key to RUN, not start, and see if you hear the fuel pump run for a second or two and then stop.   Me Too! I just purchased a 1995 GMC Jimmy and have noticed surges at different speeds especially noticable while using the cruise control.   The sending unit is more likely the culprit. If you have access to an ohm meter, you can check the resistance of the sending unit. It should read around 2.5K to 5K cold, and below 200-300 ohms hot (170 to 200 degrees).

  Probablty as you said the IAC is not responsing to the PCM commands so connector or valve. Get the AC checked out to see if the compressor is dying - excessive drag as the clutch cycles the AC on/off or could be just low pressure so a recharge required

  Probably the fan motor died - cheap part to replace from underhood and believe only 3 small bolts - all stores sell them. Also possible fan resistor mounted by AC box but thats speed control so fan should still be on at some speed.

  When I started my '95 Jimmy yesterday morning the heater fan was on and blowing, so I turned it off until the car could warm up. When I went to turn it on again the fan didn't come back on. No noise, no fan , no nothing. I checked the heater fuse and replaced it, but no luck. Any ideas?

  Depends on mileage and your maintainance. Over 100k is full tuneup and 95 are known to have leakly CPI and nut kit but usually have a gas smell or washed intake (internal). Check the posts on CPI. Also any codes or SES light on, check all vac hoses cause these always rot out and follow to the reserviotr in the drivers side fender.

  So you replaced the pump and checked the pressure at the fuel rail for 60psi pressure - low pressure it won't start. Also you replaced the pressure regulator and nut kit under the intake cover? Next how about the relays are they good. Then the throttle position sensor.

  At this time we have replaced the Fuel Injector and the Fuel Pump and it still won't keep running. Turns over however no fire. You put the gas in the throttle body manually and it runs. Once the manual feed is discontinued it dies. Please any suggestions on what needs to be done next.
