Update: I tried the carb cleaner thing again and got some response. It was trying to fire. Vehicle info: 1994 GMC Jimmy 4.3 V6 CPI VIN code W stock condition AT SES code 32....EGR. This is intermittent. Thanks Read More...

Hi all. I have read all the posts and found my problem duplicated many times but there seems to be something different each time. Hello, I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy, the AC does not cycle any more, I jumped the compressor and the system cools down, I checked the fuse and when I run the engine and turn the AC on, I pulled the fuse and notice a small electrical arch, I am thinking there is a relay somewhere, but do not know where to lok. Hi i recently bought a used 1994 GMC Jimmy and i have some problems with the 4-wheel drive switch. When i goo into 4-wheel high it will not let me i can feel the gears trying to switch but it doesnt work, but when i switch it into 4-wheel low it works perfectly i dont know if i should replace the switch or it has somethin to do with the transfer case itself can someone help ... I am not sure with the 94 jimmy but with my 2001 you cant grease the ball joints. Mine are a sealed unit that are suppose to last for a long time. So if yours are the same I dont think your friend trying to grease them will help. I am told that It has to be changed. Also when we changed our hubs it wasn't a clunking noise but a howling noise.
