Hey guys. Two months ago I bought a 2005 GMC Envoy XL (not SLT/no security system), 4.2 Liter, In-line 5. A couple weeks ago the Passlock light on the instrument cluster came on. A day later, all of the lights on the instrument cluster started going on and off at random (just really going crazy), and all the gauges stopped working. This kept happening intermittently ... I haven't even driven an Envoy, as I thought it was like a trailblazer. It is harder to get a better deal at GMC dealers vs Chevy as there are 5x as many chevy dealers. The Pilot is a much more quality piece than the Trailblazer, and it has the 3rd row std. About the same price too. Last summer they were selling for 7400 ish off MSRP. Almost all the 06's are gone. I have been following the various forums for the last few weeks. I am looking to purchase a new SUV soon, within the next 8 weeks. Look at sales numbers for July 2005. Mitsubishi sold 1,600 Endevors Honda sold over 14,000 Pilots Chevy sold 29,000 Trailblazers GMC sold 15,000 Envoys Both Envoy and TBs are seeling very close to last years numbers. (about 150,000 TB's in 6 months). First it seems gas prices don't scare us too much. Tahoe, Yukon, and Yukon XL sales are about the same as last year. ... Read More...

There's been several comments concerning wind noise. Found this info on the Dec Techlink.
