  • 2004 Envoy Intermittent A/C Problem

    Written by: 2004envoyboy on May 21, 2013 6:31:41 PM

2004 GMC Envoy XUV. I purchased the vehicle new in 2004 with 4 miles on it. No problems with the A/C until 2008. In the summer of 2008 the A/C did not work at all. The fan/blower motor worked, just no cold air. I did nothing to correct the problem. In the summer of 2009 the A/C worked fine. In 2010 at 235K miles I replaced the engine and transmission with ... • 2006 Envoy Denali..Catastrophic Engine Failure

I brought my 2006 Envoy used in 2009 with 42,000 miles on it. I have had all oil changes and took very good care of my vehicle. I was told that a diagnostic was $1040...and it would not go towards the repair. It would be just to know what happened or why my engine blew. I have been reading these posts and realize that the 6 weeks my car has been ... Read More

I purchased my 2006 Envoy Denali XL in 2009 with 45,000 miles in March 2009. I now have 63,000 miles. Since my purchase I paid $420 to repair for issue #1 -Fuel Sensor: I couldn't tell what was my gas level. I purchased a 2004 Envoy in March of 2009. Within three days the instrument panel went out completely. When I took it in it was explained to me that they knew of the problem, it wasn't a recall, but if you take it in to have it fixed GM will pay for it. I was told that there were two manufacturer's making the modules that work in the panel. One manufacturer's ... Read More

I have had nothing but problems with my Envoy. I purchased my truck used in December 2006 and in March 2007 all of my problems began. My airbag light came on and I took it to the dealer since I had purchased the extended warranty coverage and I needed a new computer system. In May 2007 I was driving home on the highway and my lights started to flicker on and ... Read More

I went to gmsupplierdiscount.com and looked under the incentives they list... None of these were showing up in the list of 2009 models but were there for the 2008's. Interesting that they were showing $6000 incentives on the 2008s. But that does not really confirm either way. Edit... I next went to www.gm.com, selected GMC, then went to Build Your Own.. chose 2009 and the Envoy does show up there. So, ... Read More

Just FYI: reliable inside sources on other boards are saying these pics are not the next Envoy, but rather the 2008 GMC Acadia, which is on GM's new FWD/AWD Lambda platform, which will also spawn the 2007 Saturn Outlook, 2008 Buick Rendezvous and maybe a new generation of 2009 minivans to replace the current U-body vans. Word is that the major redo of the Envoy has been canned. -Andrew L
