#1 MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE! Report problems to NHTSA.gov! Find a NON-dealership you can trust and have them check your fault code(s) (I believe AutoZone will check this for free). There are 28 pages of emails on this Envoy Forum, since 2008 and there have yet to be a recall on all Envoys with instrument cluster problems. Your email response is very generic, but yet nothing is done about it. I purchased a 2007 Envoy Denali in Nov. 2008, 26000. I now have 51000. It's a good riding SUV and I really like it. I totally agree with YOU!!! We have been GM customers since 1974 and my 2008 GMC Envoy is the worst of the worst - we have never had a car with this many problems - it's in the shop every couple weeks. I think they'ver replaced 1/2 of it - which is a good think because it will soon be out of warranty. GMC has some major flaws in it's product ... Read More

I went to gmsupplierdiscount.com and looked under the incentives they list... None of these were showing up in the list of 2009 models but were there for the 2008's. Interesting that they were showing $6000 incentives on the 2008s. But that does not really confirm either way. Edit... I just bought a 2008 Envoy Denali this past November and I LOVE it! I have never enjoyed driving before, but now I always volunteer to drive! It's a truck that drives as smooth as a car.

GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 GMC Envoy SLE 4WD with 12,000 miles per year are 6.65% and 58%, respectively. Who ever set the option packages for the 2008 Envoy should have their head examined. I had a 03 SLE and it ran great. Among the options I had included the load leveling suspension and power passenger seat. The suspension was great when hauling building materials, car parts, etc. Unfortunately, the 03 was hit and totaled. Just FYI: reliable inside sources on other boards are saying these pics are not the next Envoy, but rather the 2008 GMC Acadia, which is on GM's new FWD/AWD Lambda platform, which will also spawn the 2007 Saturn Outlook, 2008 Buick Rendezvous and maybe a new generation of 2009 minivans to replace the current U-body vans. Word is that the major redo of the Envoy has been canned. -Andrew L
