Suspension sagging constantly working compressor. Need to know what GM is going to do about this it has affected thousands of vehicles, the truck is undrivable and unsafe in such a condition I wonder if any accidents have been caused by this? Here is a link to a kit on strutmasters to rip out the air and put springs and shocks for $199 http://www.strutmasters.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=2007+GMC+Envoy
I have a 2007 GMC Envoy Denali and it also has the sagging suspensions and the compessor os working overtime to keep it up my wife and kids drive this car we do not have 1000 or more to put air bags or tubes etc. We need to know what GM is gong to do about this obvious design flaw that has by my count affected THOUSANDS of vehicles. I also own a 2007 GMC Envoy Denali . Fuel gauge is freaky too. Hope we get some help , the dealership wants 600.00 to fix it.
Sarah. I bought my 2005 GMC Envoy XL in 2008. One month after I bought it the speedometer stopped working properly. One by one, little by little all the gauges stopped working and as of about a month ago the gas gauge does not work. I have read several comments on this site from people who got a letter from GM offering to pay 50% of the cost to fix it. ... Read More
Well here we go again time to vent. It's funny my last post was exactly one year ago this month. So on with it, cylinder #4 misfire code P304. This happened 6 months ago and healed its self before I could start the diagnosis. At the same time my oil pressure sensor failed. Fast forward to 1week ago. The oil pressure sensor is acting up again thankfully it's under warranty. The ... Read More
Fantastic. I just bought a 2007 Envoy Denali with 90000 miles, and there is a serious "Ghost in the machine". Check engine light flashing, backfiring and smoke out the tailpipe, a gas gauge that, when it gets past half, you can actually watch the needle drop to empty. It is at GMC right now, they called and said theres nothing wrong with it, "We've cleared the codes for you!" Oh, gee, ... Read More
I am also having the same problem, I have a 2007 gmc envoy xl and my gas gauge went out. I understand that gmc is doing a 50/50 split on getting this repaired is this correct is it possiblo? What can I do to get this repaired? I am a single mother on a budgeted income.
I had 2006 GMC Envoy which is giving inaccurate gas level readings. This is known problem with GM SUVs from 2005 -2007. the NHTSA has gotten 668 complaints. GM agrees to pay 1/2 the fee to fix it. My half was $194. The dealer stated they will not paid 100% because it is not a safety issue. I told them -"Try running out of gas on the entry ramp to the ... Read More

My interior bell went off for about 30 seconds today. No light came on. After turning car off for a couple hours, still no light. I hate to even think about changing the 4th oil pump in my denali but there it sits on my driveway again with oil pressure reading between 25 psi and zero, with the associated ""stop engine" message on. Good morning, It's difficult to advise some next steps for you at this point. As a dealership will likely charge you a diagnostic fee, I would recommend that if you had considered visiting them to wait until this concern occurs consistently (as you say that right now the oil pressure problem has been resolved ant the engine noise is gone). If you're going to pay a diagnostic fee, I want to ... Read More

Well, that "recall" will only help a fraction of those affected. It states: "The vehicles affected are Chevy Trailblazers, GMC Envoys and Buick Rainiers produced between 2005 and 2007." My wife's 2000 Envoy had the same problem, so it's not just 2005 and 2007 models!! It effects at least 2000 thru 2007....much more than they admit to. Where the heck do they get their information????
Hi, steve I just found yours message. I have Envoy 2007 SLT and have a problem with the fuel gauge. It happened when i just passed the factory warranty (37500 mi). I love my GMC Envoy, but recently the fuel gauge became eratic. I've seen a lot of posts in this forum complaining about the Envoys and very few complimentary posts. I leased my Envoy in Sept. 2007 and have since put about 8,000 miles on it. I'm very happy with it. It's quiet, handles like a sports car, stops on a dime, has plenty of power and the gas milage is good considering how it is driven. Anyone else enjoying their Envoy?
