I have a 1999 GMC Envoy with HID low beam headlights. One of the headlights went out and I was quoted the following “replace the Igniter which costs $657.00 per side and also the Ballast which costs $616.00 per side. Is there a cheaper replacement for a HID headlight on a 1999 Envoy bulb rather than pay the GM replacement price? We're talking close to $1000 or more for the bulb and ballast... Can I replace the system with an after market kit? Thanks! Read More...

I dropped off my 1999 Yukon for service & my dealer gave me a 2001 Envoy for the day. Not bad it rides much better than the Yukon. The engine was fast in compared to the bigger Yukon. However I won't lease this for over 605 per mth. Yukons are going for over 1k per mth, & that @ invoice.....!!!! My lease is up in q mths on the Yukon IF GM doesn't do anything with the pricing ...
