Wow! I just �stumbled� onto this Edmunds forum while researching the rear load leveling suspension problems I started having a few months ago. This sounds like one of MANY chronic problems associated with GMC Envoys over several years and models (i.e., 2004, 2005, 2006, XL, XUV, Denali, etc.). GM should be ashamed!!!! These are not isolated incidents. I have a 2005 GMC Envoy XUV with 78000 miles on it. This vehicle has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE!!! This gas gauge problem is called a Fuel Leveling Sensor!!! I know, because I just had it replaced. I had it replaced to the tune of $600. It is located inside the gas tank.
