2024 GMC Canyon

Every Canyon has a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine (310 horsepower, 430 lb-ft) and an eight-speed automatic transmission. With Elevation trim, two-wheel drive is standard, and an automatic four-wheel-drive system with a single-speed transfer case is optional. The AT4, AT4X and Denali include a standard four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case and a true low range.

A new AT4X AEV option package equips the Canyon with several off-roading enhancements:

Denali
With an upscale look and interior, the Canyon Denali isn't as capable off-road as the AT4X but includes nearly the same set of convenience and technology features plus:

An optional Trailering package is available for the Canyon. It includes a trailer hitch, a trailer wiring harness, and an integrated trailer brake controller (allows adjustment of a trailer's brakes from the cab). An available ProGrade Trailering System adds an in-vehicle app and upgrades the blind-spot warning and intervention systems with trailer coverage.
