Van is noisy, vibration in front at 55 mph, steering column pops, had rear wiper motor replaced, I also have grinding on start-up; service workers never hear it. Inside interior along windshield loose, lots of wind through windows. Never again will I own a Fix Or Repair Daily!
Great for first couple of years ... then it wears out. Electronics start to go. Rear wiper motor -- gone! Trim and door hardware start to come off. Interior is just plain ol' cheap. So don't buy unless it's for the long haul. Because it depreciates too fast. Oh yeah, gas mileage of 20 mpg on highway! Not good at all.
Was the reversing sensors till they stopped working 2 1/2 years later.
I have an '02 and had a '96 prior. both have been quite reliable. the '02 was only to the dealer 2 times in 3 years (once under warranty). My brother has had his Odyssey in as many times, and paid a WHOLE bunch more for the van. Great for towing our folding camper as well. I highly recommend!
Space, versatility, VALUE
front seat padding is a little thin, fuel mileage could be a couple MPG higher.
Having 3 kids, I thought I had to have a minivan. This Windstar was the most stylish in my opinion. Has had a strange clunking in the front end when going 55 mph or higher, no one seems to know what it is.
Quad bucket seats, exterior design.
The chrome on it looks great, but dings when a bug hits it, and what's that clunking noise? I see someone else had the same noise.
