2013 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
Going down the road, the side and rear view mirrors do a great job of providing visibility.
The embedded spot mirrors are a huge plus for highway driving. My only qualm with the audio system is the volume control lacked granularity.
Volume setting number three was too soft, and number four was at times too loud.
I did notice a few times, when coming off of highway speeds and pulling in town that the air conditioner stalls.
The cabin gets a little warm and I usually had to turn down the climate control and maybe bump up the fan a bit to get things back to normal.
Cruise in "coast mode", gave very peculiar behavior.
Not only would try to speed up, but it also downshifted to accelerate,
Entertainment system layout and functionality.
Sport mode transmission
Forward and side visibility, side view mirrors
Power Steering is very consistent (helpful) at low speeds
(averaged 25.7 over 2100 mile trip, with the best tank coming in at 28)
Fuel inlet (can't put in any additives)
Lack of granularity in volume control. Set the typical listening level on a much higher number.
Rear visibility poorer than expected for a sedan.
Cruise stumbles when
attempting to coast then resume.
Air Conditioner stalls when coming down from highway speeds.
Lack of oil pressure, electrical system readings.
We have the taurus limited and just got 27.5 average on approx four hundred mile road trip-the car has around 1200 miles on it now, am hoping the milage will in improve a bit as it gets more miles on it.
I havent noticed any of the problems you are reporting yet but time will tell hehe.
