Hi! I have a Ford Taurus SES 2002 88,000mi. For the past several months I have had a strange problem but now sometimes the car does not start at all. I drive to work and the car is fine - starts up no problem. I go home for lunch and after about 1/2 hour I start the car again and it idles VERY roughly and has stalled a few times. Ok, but it has the same lines as a Town Car and the chrome (I think...). Also, I choose to clarify something. By the term Super Duty Superiority, it has been the best-selling truck for the last, what, 30 years? I also read somewhere that the F-150 outsells the Tundra by about 8 to 1. October 2006 sales were bad for Ford. They had by then fully dumped the 2006-07 last run Taurus fleet machines. The Edge was being sold and the "new" Expedition was out as well. I disagree. You said the Accord is fabulous. How? And how does the Subaru beat it? Before he got a 2008 Taurus (a remarkable car), my brother had a Legacy (2006) that wouldn't stop blowing chunks. Personally, I am very GLAD I have the Ford Five Hundred. (2006 SEL, new owner) I Can not STAND those 2 names, Taurus and Sable. I have a 2007 Mustang V6 and a 2006 Fusion I4 SE. I wish that Ford would put the round hvac vents that are in the Mustang, the MKZ, and all of the Pick-ups into every car/suv/cuv/truck that Ford makes. I really hate trying to adjust the little square vents on the Fusion, which are basically the same as the ones on the new Taurus. The Edge and MKX can be even more annoying ... Read More...
