1997 Ford Taurus SHO 4dr Sedan
The SHO is a great performance sedan, but with many Engineering flaws. This sleeper vehicle can come out of the box like a bat out of hell. Yet, you could throw a baby seat in the back and go for a Sunday drive. Handling is awesome with the McPherson Struts.
The V8 3.4L Yamaha engine gives this vehicle the zip it needs to get from home to the race track with little effort. This is one of the few V8 engines I've seen that redlines at 7000 rpms. The engine is a SHO Stopper.
Camshaft sproket needs to be welded to the cam, otherwise the sproket will eventually loosen and cause for a complete engine failure. Too many other electrical problems that would render the vehicle to be parked most of the year.
