Great car for the money

1997 Ford Taurus LX 4dr Sedan

Review

I purchased my Taurus in 1998 used with 24,000 miles. I was extremely surprised with the power and handling for a domestic car. On the highway the car gets 30 miles to the gallon, and 20 in the city. It's held up extremely well, and is still going strong at 112,000 miles.

Favorite Features

Power Moonroof, CD player really accentuates a great factory sound system. The 24valve DOHC engine roars like its Mustang cousin - never a shortage of power. Interior Design is very comfortable with bucket seats.

Suggested Improvements

The only negative in my book is the 4-wheel disc brakes. They tend to wear out a little faster than other similarly sized cars. Perhaps larger front rotors.
